The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Ferries Division (WSF) is moving forward on building new ferries to replace its aging fleet. Check out some of their photos on flickr.
They are building new 64-car ferries, and 144 car ferries. The 64-car ferries will be constructed at Todd Shipyard in Seattle.

It’s nearly the end of the road for the old Coast Guard Icebreaker GLACIER, WAGB-4. The ship has left the Suisun Reserve Fleet, entered the Mare Island Drydock for hull cleaning, and is now under tow to Brownsville for scrapping.
