The classification society DNV’s maritime chief has proposed imposing speed limits on the world’s merchant fleets as a better solution to curbing emissions than carbon credit trading. The ship has left the Suisun Reserve Fleet, entered the Mare Island Drydock for hull cleaning, and is now under tow to Brownsville for scrapping.
