Cargo ship burns in Miami

Freighter ATLANTIC on fire in Miami - (AP)

It took more than 100 firefighters to extinguish a fire aboard a 200 ft coastal freighter that was moored in the Miami river on Saturday night.  The ship’s cargo was apparently mattresses, bicycles, and cars bound for Haiti.  All nine crew members were safely evacuated.  The vessel is named ATLANTIC.  There are very few details so far on the vessel itself.  I’ve been unable to determine its flag, or any associated ships particulars.  If anybody knows, feel free to pass along.

Update:  One news agency reported the vessel is Panamanian flagged.  That narrows it down to about three different vessels.
