Cargo Ship BELLA L rescues 1 in Atlantic

The Bulgarian owned BELLA L (IMO 7609752) rescued 1 from the foundering yacht PHOENIX about 1000 miles off the coast of the U.S. coast in the Atlantic. The ship rescued Czech citizen Pavel Drobny, who was the only person on board the yacht PHOENIX, after he transmitted a mayday signal at 1:50am on July 9. The reason for his mayday has not been released.
