Is the Coast Guard more respectful?

Lloyds List brings us an article describing how things have changed since the Commandant of the Coast Guard ordered his employees to treat merchant mariners with more respect earlier this year.  Overall, it appears things have changed for the better since Admiral Allen issued the directive.  How have you been treated?  Do you agree?  Share your opinion here.
