There is a white ship that normally sits moored in Baltimore, forgotten by most. Today, that ship became the most important ship in the U.S. Navy. Today, the USNS Comfort arrived in Haiti.

Fantastic. It always seems like we forget that these ships were built for a reason, it just doesn’t make sense that those who make the decisions to keep or cut these vessels don’t have the foresight to realize such things. It’s amazing, I wish I were sailing aboard her right now.
