Social Privateers – Solving problems on an ocean near you?

I came across this last night while watching “Shadow Forces” on the History Channel. Are social privateers going to be the solution to some of the most dangerous threats on the high seas today? Here I was watching a rag tag group of ex-military/special forces, a few brave soles, and a rusty West African fishing boat performing fisheries enforcement boardings off the coast of Liberia, and performing them successfully too! Thousands of dolphins block pirates?

I had to look through this several times, and still don’t believe what I see. Take it with a grain of salt, as the original story comes from China. I thought I’d post it here anyways, as it is certainly interesting, and if true, absolutely amazing. Because we don’t even see the dolphins and the suspected pirates in the same photo, I wonder how true this story is.
