Chinese sub collides with navy towed array

In another incident between the U.S. Navy and China, a submerged Chinese sub apparently collided with a towed array from the Arliegh Burke Class guided missile destroyer USS John McCain on Thursday.

World’s shortest sea trial

It appears to have been the world’s shortest sea trial for the car carrier DYVI PACIFIC. The ship apparently capsized shortly after leaving the builders yard in Shadong, China. The 6,200 car capcity (ceu) ship had just been recently christened at a ceremony on March 16, 2009 at Samjin Shipbuilding Industries. The ship was departing for trials and was schedulded to be delivered to its owners.

Thousands of dolphins block pirates?

I had to look through this several times, and still don’t believe what I see. Take it with a grain of salt, as the original story comes from China. I thought I’d post it here anyways, as it is certainly interesting, and if true, absolutely amazing. Because we don’t even see the dolphins and the suspected pirates in the same photo, I wonder how true this story is.
