On Wednesday, the U.S. command ship MOUNT WHITNEY, the flagship of the Sixth Fleet sailed into the Black Sea loaded with 17 tons of humanitarian supplies bound for Georgia. It appears the arrival of the USS McFaul in Georgia has occured without incident. Russian naval vessels did not make any encounters with the U.S. guided missile destroyer. In fact, Russia ordered its largest warship, the MOSKVA to return to Sevastopol. Reports do indicate however, part of the Black Sea Fleet remains deployed to the Georgian port [...]
