The St. Vincent & Grenadines flagged cargo ship Ella J demonstrates the time tested theory that ships do not react well with land. In this case, the Ella J apparently developed a technical problem in clear weather resulting in the ship striking a concrete quayside wall at Yenikoy on Thursday.
